How do members of this group recycle your old outdated floppies? Also
old tapes like QIC-60s.

Spending money and fuel to reclaim a fraction of a cent of metalic oxides is
not sound economics or ecology.

I put them in the recycle bin for electonics at work. They go to
a specialised recycling company.

Ebay after wiping them...

Some use still Qic-60/80 Tape Drives and cheap 1$ Tapes are highly
wanted by them.Migrating to DLT will cost them at least 1000$ for
Hardware/Tapes and lot of time.
