Hi:
I am trying to use a Dell laptop plus a second monitor. I
have an ATI Mobile Radeon 9000 graphics card. I been able
to extend the desktop and everything works fine as long I
leave the laptop as the "primary" monitor. However, I want
the second monitor to be the "primary" monitor. Everytime I
select it as the primary, the laptop screen shows a blank
desktop that does not fill the screen and you can't move
the cursor on or off of it. Any ideas what I need do to
solve this problem.
Thanks

I am 90% sure you can't do that with a laptop, the built
in screen has to always be the primary screen. Could be
wrong though (but I do remember reading that in the ATI,
CNET and microsoft websites)
