I have Xp pro, and a Panasonic Palmcorder model PV-
DV201, and when I plug in, I get the little "Doo-dig", and
it says if found a 61883 device, but says the driver is
invalid. There is no driver for this from panasonic, so I
can't figure it out. I already checked the panasonic site.
I can't capture with movie maker, or any other software.
Any Suggestions?

are you connecting with firewire? If so check network connections and
disable the firewire one if enabled.

The firewire connection is it on-board or on a pci card? Try unistalling the
firewire port and reinstalling it.
