Hi there... I'm having a major problem with my laptop
when i play DVD or DivX videos or rather anyyy video in
my media or any other player!.. Now the problem is the
video is toooo bright to be seen! its all white!.. as if
there's a direct sunlight on the video and i dunno how it
happened!...
It used to work perfect before... is it cuz of SP2? I
have a fujitsu Siemens 2G P4 Mobile processor with a S3
ProSavage DDR 16MB graphics card builtin... DirectX 9.0c,
SP2 is installed too!
I got even more confused when already a movie trailer was
playing on Windows Media player(again too bright to be
seen) and when i tried playing another trailer from
another source on the internet, the movie waz perfect!...
windows media player waz used in both situations... i.e.
The video on the first media player window waz too
brightttt and almost invisible and the video on the media
player launched by a website waz perfectly fine!!!.. How
is that??
I also tried upgrading the drivers for the graphics card
but still the same problem...
my direct email is haroon@clubimate.com. Pleaseee help me
with any suggestions. I'll really appreciate yer help.
Thanks a billion!

Try lowering the hardware acceleration.
Desktop->rtclick->Properties->Settings->Advanced->Troubleshoot
and/or
Media player->Tools->Options->Performance->hardware Acceleration
