Nice to see them owning up to their problem, and not something of the "you're holding it wrong" type.

Don't be angry because iPhone users get a good working phone and get to look good at the same time. While you use some clunky peace of junk that even with massive screens and double to quadurple the processing power still looks like a giant black hunk of plastic.

Yet somehow we all know that the moment you stick an Apple sticker on the back cover, it instantly becomes refined, beautiful, modern, revolutionary, game-changing, amazing and magical.

Sure........... the iPhone 4 came working right of the bat, and the antenna issue was 'cause people were holding it wrong.

As for looks well that is all opinion and since no one cares what others really think about looks, then your opinion means nothing just like everyone elses :p

Apple would never develop such a POS, so no worries there.

Didn't apple own up the antenna issue and since it was hardware related they told users ways to mitigate it by holding it a certain way... I'm pretty sure the design team got a mouthful from Jobs after that

ZingamYeah, iOS has some advantages/nice touches but the hardware is... crap!

I have an Android phone. Really like it too. However, I don't know how you can say the iPhone is crap when its exterior is glass and metal and it performs well while almost all Android phones have a cheap feeling plastic or rubber exterior. The iPhone is a nice phone. ...just because you don't like it doesn't mean its a bad phone.

If Google's update fixes the issue in one shot, then they have more marketing ammunition against Apple's failOS 5.

Wow, if the Galaxy Nexus had a nice strong metal casing and a non-pentile HD display (like the HTC Rezound) with a camera as good or better than the iPhone 4S' it would be unstoppable. :heink:

It wasn't 60% of users, it was 60% of those answering the polls. And those forums attract 98% of whiners. The tom's author of this obviously doesn't understand stats, but what chicks do?

Plus it only affects 900Mhz 2G signal. We are talking third world country service.

P.S. It beats 100% of iphone 4 having defective antennas for all bands, and 100% of iphone 4S having defective batteries.

Like when Apple launched iOS 4 to the 3G? My wife would disagree with you.

I bought the HTC rezound on it's launch day 11/14/2011...and the GNex is going to have a hard time competing with it's Super LCD full RGB stripe NOT PenTile with 2/3 the pixels...) I looked at the top 3 phones being released by VZW in Nov and Dec and Rezound won me over...no oversaturated GNex for me! Loving 720p in true colors on LCD not crayonish overbright hues on SAMOLED... plus Rezound higher PPI than any other phone in existence at 341ppi.
Plus the removeable battery and a SD slot heh! :)
Now just waiting for the two features GNex has that Rezound does NOT have yet....NFC on a SD card, and Ice Cream Sandwich. Add those two by 1Q 2012 and nothing the Nex can do to match the Rezound on spec or features.

Zingam And in the case of iPhone 4... well, isn't Job (at least usually that what he used to claim) the sole designer of all iProducts? I bet the iPhone 4 design was his idea (at least he usually used to like taking all the credits for everything Apple).

Actually, if Steve Jobs could have had his way, he would have claimed credit for and rightful ownership off any and all technology in the known Universe...
