I'm considering buying a computer with the Microsoft Media
Center operating system. With my current computer with
Windows ME, I have to install a bunch of programs--ie.
file join, varioous codecs and file format recognition
programs--in order to accomplish these tasks.
Does the Window Media Center have all of these features so
that I do not have to go through the process of adding
additional programs?

Did you try going to www.microsoft.com and doing a search on Windows Media
Center to check out the specifications?
