Hi All

Got a big problem here. I have a Canon MV700I wich worked fine under XP Pro.
Now Windows doesn't recognize the camcorder anymore. Whta I already tried:

Reinstall 1394 card
New 1394 card
New cable
Camcorder on other PC (works fine)

It's driving me crazy any suggestions other than reinstall Windows

Thnx

To reinstall a pci card.
Disable it in device manager and remove drivers.
Turn off pc.
Remove pci card.
boot up windows.
turn off pc.
refit card, preferably in a different slot.
turn on pc and let windows install drivers.

If you have installed sp2 it can disable the firewire port in the security
panel via the firewall so check this is not happening first.

Just get rid of the card in deviced manager
Turn of your system and remove the card. Then reboot several times without
the card.
Then reinstall the card in another PCI slot
However this did not solve my problem
