A friend accidently disabled his graphic card on a
Win XP SP2 installation. Now the screen remains dark :-(((
Even F8 and a reboot in "Save Mode" or "VGA mode"
didn't help.
Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling the whole system?

Thanks in advance

Its not clear what "didnt help" mean? If it did not show up the screen in
these modes as well then use the "last known good" option.

Otherwise it seems you might be heading for a repair install.
