I have just installed a QTECH 340R IDE RAID Controller (part no 13237) using
the supplied driver.
When I boot up the card is correctly identified as is the drive connected to
it. These are the first things displayed on the screen as expected. But when
boot up is finished and I'm at the XP desktop my PC cant see the drive.
In Device Manager of windows XP pro under SCSI/RAID contollers I see code 10
"This device cannot be started"
I just have a single IDE drive (set as master) connected to it. I dont
actualy need the RAID function just now. I thought I could use this card to
extend the number of IDE drives on my system. Is that correct?
