I have continual problems synchronising contacts. Everything else synchronises perfectly.

I have tried deleting and re-entering entries, even all of them. Sometimes this can work, but then the next time I sync it goes back to the "attention require" state.

The wcesmgr.log has the following, but the outstore.log indicated nothing wrong.

My PDA is the XDA2 and the PC is running XP professional. I have updated everything, BIOS, XP, USB drivers, PDA operating system and ActiveSync.

What else can I do.

I'd backup outlook (to a pst, and test it),
starrt a new pst file
then uninstall activesync
reboot,
reinstall activesync
sync the pocket PC with the (now blank) outlook
then restore the data into outlook
then sync again.

I'm not saying it'll work, but that's your next straw, if not the last one.

It worked by synchronisation is still problematic.

I have avoided filling in the 'category' field on the PDA as this field is not available in Outlook and has often been implicated in the problem.

Why is this field in CE version of Outlook and not the full version, or is there something I am missing.
