I bought a dell install with windows xp. the hype was that i could edit my
hove videos.i believed that the system would have everything I would need. I
am not able to connect my canon zr50 dv camcorder. What is the deal, do i
need to purchase a vidio capture card or something. you would have thought
that this was part of the system? I am able to access still digital photos
fron the camera but not videos?

It appears to be a digital camcorder... are you connecting it to the PC with
