Can anyone recommend a good USB2 image capturing device which I could
use for capturing medical, images from the S-video outlet of an
endoscopic camera. The dedicated medical hardware for this is
astronomically expensive. I would ideally want to be able to add text to
the saved jpegs "on the fly" so to speak.

If read about Pinnacle's PCTV and the Adaptec's VideoOh! but these
have much more than I need.

Any help gratefully received.

Pinnacle and Adaptec are really the lowest on the market that I know of.
