please i need your invaluable assistance on how to convert
a window movie maker file (.wmv) to .mpeg or .dat file
format. if there is any software that could be of help

You need a dvd authoring app. A google search will show up many, but you may
already have the likes of nero/roxio on your machine. If these are right up
to date then they will do it. Otherwise there is tmpgenc dvd author /
dvdlabs / ulead do several etc etc
