Well not all americans are idiots...Germans make great cars.

but here is an example of what i am talking about.....the new VW Beatle....they are HORRIBLE looking(to me) and yet people flock to them like flys to shitt. If you ask eveyone who owns one about gas milage, warrany, engine power, speaker setup, i garentee that 90% of them know none of that....they just know that they are "cute"

Now i am not saying style shouldn't be part of every purchase....but it shoudln't be the ONLY thing.

I would never own a lamborghini even if i was a billionare....i think they look like overangled turds. I would much rather have a nice looking car that is badass...like a Carerra GT for road racing.....or a Hennessey Venom 1000TT for quarter's (0-60 est at 2.0, 0-100 est at 5.0, quarter in 8.93 at 149MPH....I hate ricers and this would kill just about any ricer i know of....granted with almost 1100HP and 1100lbs or torque...it would be a bear to dirve on a road couse but i could get from stoplight to stoplight quickly.)

it was the name and the new TG brand image i am dissing, not the phpbb theme. the phpbb theme is fine IMO i have no issues with sub-silver or any of their other defaults

the issue i have is with the cross-website brand image that Tom has going on. now it may very well hit the target market right on the head, i didn't do the market research into who likes this kind of stuff.

the TG logo looks kinda temporary IMO (but i'd need to talk to the designer and see their concepts to see why they chose it)

the buttons being under a google ad, but not being very distinguished... then straight under that a similar looking but different set of menu entries.... not particularly ergonomic for the user. its rather cluttered.

it is that which i am dissing, not the forum here. (except the name)

i think the colour choices and some of the brand identity is nice, like the curve and such, but basicly the logo, and button positioning i am not so keen on and that effects the whole feel of the brand.

but hey, not my customers, so i guess not my issue.

My buddy loves ricers and thinks they are the greatest cars ever....
I showed him some Hennessey Vipers and he nearly shat himself.

They may not win any Gran Turismo style races, but in a quarter mile you will be hard pressed to beat it LEGALLY. I'm sure some can....but VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY few.


I love any car that has a theoretical top speed....that means people who make a living by driving cars as fast as they can can't/won't take it up to full power.....thats beast!

I don't like the way either of those cars looks at all. To each their own. I don't really like the Viper type look.
