hi,
i have a sony computer that CAME with a DVD player, i also have windows XP

when i try to play a DVD
i get this error message

Windows cannot read from this disk, This disk might be corrupted, or it
could be using a format that is not comopatible with WINDOWS

does anyone have any suggestions

A DVD Player also needs software to work.........did you get a DVD program??
what program are you using to try to play the DVD??
