Hi all,
I have made a succesful dial-up connection to my provider from my iPAQ to my
Nokia 6310i via bluetooth.
In the top of my iPAQ screen I got the two arrows (without the x) confirming
the connection.
However, when I start Internet Explorer on my iPAQ I get "The page you are
looking for cannot be found" for ANY website (I tried www.pocketpc.com for
instance).

Try running the welcome.exe program, that you can find in the
Windows directory of your Pocket PC. This starts the sequence
you've seen when you've first started your device, and refreshed
Pocket Internet Explorer's settings.

You state that you have the two arrows without the x. Can you
ping IP addresses? You can try vxUtil for a ping utility for
your Pocket PC (http://www.cam.com/vxutil_pers.html).

Yes I can! Thanks for the util and the tip. Ping works fine!
So I do have a connection. So..... any ideas in the next step of the
analysis? I am lost.
Only strange thing I discovered is that in my connections I saw that my iPAQ
is connected via bluetooth with a "Bluetooth Dialup modem" where one of the
other options is "Bluetooth" (and Generic IrDA - didnt work so far). But
when I select "bluetooth" instead of "bluetooth dialup modem" I get the
error message "There is no Bluetooth hadrware installed on this device".
That does not seem logical while I CAN ping via bluetooth..... Maybe this
helps analysing the problem??
