Primary or Secondary?

I have a Western Digital 1200jb 8mb cache 7200rpm ata 100 and a
Maxtor 6e040l0 2mb cache 7200rpm ata 133. Question is which
should be primary and which secondary? Any info appreciated. johnnyok

Ummm... , what do you mean by "primary" and "secondary"?
Primary IDE channel and secondary IDE channels?
Master and Slave?
OS and data?
Whaaaat?

And, again....which should be the boot drive...wouldn't that also be the
master drive....OR the Primary hard drive?
So....my question was not clear.....apparently you knew what I meant.

Doesnt matter.

Maybe you are asking which should be the boot drive, that's a different
question.

Generally best to have the newest largest drive as the boot drive, so the WD.
