i just downloaded an avi file video and when i try to play it with windows
media, i only get audio, and no picture- it doesn't give me an error message
or anything, i just can't see it! i have wondows media version 10, and i use
windows XP professional 2002 version- any advice/ help?

A standard AVI file is compressed or it would be about 12gb per hour of
footage. Codecs are used to compress the file. The most common are DIVX
and XVid... downloading these will help you view your file.
