ActiveSync and WebServices

Hi all,

I have 2 machines set up.

A development machine that runs a CF app that calls some web services. XP
with VS.Net 2003 and Active Sync 3.7 (3083). I have a HP Pocket PC connected
via USB. The app works perfectly and calls the web services etc.

I take the same Pocket PC (in crade and all) and plug it in (USB) to another
XP machine with the same version of Active Sync 3.7 (3083). When I try and
run the app, the compact framework tells me "Unable to read data from the
transport connection".

Any idea why? Its the identical pocket PC on idential machines with
identical configurations (barring ip) in terms of network domain etc and
identical Active sync versions, only difference is, the one desktop machine
has the dev tools (VS.Net, compact framework, CE etc)

Help?
