Video playback problem after SP2

I recently installed SP2, and with it WMP9. Now, I can not play
certin video files. For example the sample video email on Comsast
home page. Only part of the controls are displayed on the top of an
otherwise blank screen. I did not have any playback problems prior to
SP2. I am not sure if it’s WMP9 ( which I can’t get rid of ) or SP2.
