Futureshop has this combo on for 100.00 CDN. Is this a good deal or not? Will it be compatable with AMD based systems: MSI K7 mobo with 1.4Ghz chip?

Yeah, it a good deal- where I live, a mouse costs $80 US! Don't see why you'd want cordless, I mean it adds to the radiation in your room. That plus you can't have any intereference.

It's not for me. My brother-in-law is considering purchasing one for his next system. I use a logitech cordless mouse/keyboard combo without any major problems. The wheelmouse (mostly used for next/previous weapon) doesn't work properly in most games. Too much lag time for the software I guess. Thanks for the info!

Yes, it's a good deal. A friend of mine got it and loves it. He said he was across the street and the mouse and keyboard still worked. It's great.

I wouldn't be too worried about radiation, and interference shouldn't be a problem. I use my Logitech wireless stuff (Optical MouseMan and iTouch keyboard) at LAN parties with no problems.
