How am I supposed to know what your employer is going to allow you to see?
Let me try this analogy. I play golf ... and the game of golf has many very specific, definitive rules ... some almost insane ... there are even "decisions" that are not unlike case law in our (US) courts ... but the "rules" recognize that not every situation can be anticipated nor covered. So, the golfing "powers that be" (USGA - America & R&A - Europe) have this Rule ... "Rule 1-4. Points Not Covered by Rules"
Quote :
If any point in dispute is not covered by the Rules, the decision should be made in accordance with equity.
Esentially what this means is ... if your unsure what you should do ... just be fair ... to the game and to the other players ...
So to answer your rather vague question ... I would suggest that you consider what might be fair to someone who has a strict boss or employment situation ...
In the end ... I think we can apply equity here ... we just have to have a sense of what's right ... 8)
