hi,
I have connected to a firewire card (VIA IEEE 1394 recognized under control
panel) my new camcoder Samsung VP-DV101 -with a 4pin DVi connection cable-
but no software recognize the cam as active, so no capture is possible;
I already check all possible solution on Microsoft threads and ask Samsung
if any driver is necessary, hoplessly...
anyone has got an idea about it?

After you connect the camcorder, start Movie Maker (click on Start, All
Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, Movie Maker). After Movie Maker
starts, look at the menu on the left and click on Capture video. Then follow
the directions on your screen.
