Does anyone know how to enable DV in on this camcorder.

If you are in Europe (i.e.: Your camcorder is a PAL-format machine purchased
under EU rules), then you must perform a hardware or software hack
("unauthorized" modification). Do a Google on NV-DA1 hacks.

Otherwise (non-EU machine, NTSC machine), it is covered in your users' manual.
Unfortunately, you will have to learn Panasonic's terminology and DV/video
terminology in general to understand it.
