I have just installed Studio DC10 Plus capture card but its not
seeing/detecting a video signal....System is Windows 98SE and I have a
Matrox Marvel G400 graphics/video card in it..

All tests seem to be OK .....and I wonder if its the Matrox thats stopping
the DC10 seeing the video signal...

Any help would be gratefully received... W

What tests? What software are you using? What driver are you using?

Thankyou Will for replying ..I will try to answer your questions...
The tests I am referring to is the Start/Programs/Studio DCPlus/
Tools/Studio DC10 Plus Hardware Test......
On the panel that appears is .....driver = 4.4.2.4........miroAVI cache =
4.3.1.1 ......miroVideo expert = 4.3.4.0

The board function comes up OK on test as does VSYNC Interrupt...

In device manager etc seems OK with no Conflicts etc....I have also disabled
the video drivers on my Matrox Marvel G400.......Now the software that
appears when I click the shortcut on my desktop is StudioDC10plus Version
1.06.4...........

Now since my plea on this newsgroup , for an unknown reason (yet to be
determined ) the card has put a picture(showed a signal) in my various video
Cap devices I have (ie Vdub /WMCap/ etc ) so I was able to do a couple of
sample captures and I was very pleased with the results......
But
This morning there is no signal when I went to do a capture from my
VCR......????

The setup is exactly as yesterday and all I can think of is a PC
restart?...But as I am downloading a file I will have to wait till this is
finished (only 30 minutes away) and I will try this....

I have been to Pinnacle systems site looking for updates but I see no
reference to the Studio DC10 so I do not know if I have the latest drivers
etc.......

So any help etc would be really Aprecciated.
Wai

Ps..My PC is Windows 98se ....Asus Av7 MB...Athlon TBird 900mhz CPU 256 Ram.
