framerate conversion problem

I'm trying to join two uncompressed AVIs under VirtualDub. I captured
them using the same card and software but somehow I ended up with
slightly different frame rates, and VirtualDub is not allowing me to
join them. When I use VirtualDub's video frame control to try to change
the rates, I get severely stuttering video as a result (1 or 2 fps).

How to stitch the videos in this case?

Never mind, it was due to ATA33 cables...
