How do I create the proper file for my DVD player? I have created a small
movie and have burned it to CD but that does not play in my DVD player. How
do I go about taking that same file (which is on my hard drive) and burn to
it to DVD so it plays in my DVD player?

You use third party burning software to create and burn a DVD...

Roxio, Nero, WinDVD Creator, PowerProducer, Sonic..... those are just a few
of them.
