I can't play C&C Generals, War Craft, etc on this new
computer because of the missing file d3d8thk.dll. I have
downloaded the most recent DirectX 9.0 upgrade. Still
doesn't work. Help....

After reinstalling DirectX also reinstall your graphics card's drives.

Ensure your graphics card meets or exceeds the specification for C&C.

Do you also have the latest drivers for your graphics card? Is it supported
by C&C?
