Hi all!
I am completly lost with this problem.
I have no idea how this is possible.
A couple of weeks ago I was happily watching streamed content onmy desktop
and then taking it from my Temporary Internet File and burning them on disk
for future reference and study.
Now that's impossible.
The streams arn't being kept in the cache folder.
No streamed content at all!!!
Everything else is there, all the giffs, junk and pics from websites.
No movies.

Here is a list of what I've done.

Enabled quicktime to cache on my hard drive.
Searched my whole puter useing a .mov extension.
In Tools/Internet options/settings have looked and found nowt.
Have set my puter to show all hidden files and folders
Been all over google looking for something that I havent tried.

No luck.

Anyone have any idea whats going on here.

Thanks a lot for any feedback on this!!!

(I am on xp home(legit) and a broadband connection)

It depends on the settings of the file. Whether or not it allows local
storage can be configured by the author. Most probably the files you copied
before were not configured with this restriction.
