when I install games /programs/ that contain cab files I get this message: error 1335. the cabinet file xxx.cab required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. this could indicate a network error, an error reading from the cd-rom, or a problem with this package. then installation is aborted. when I try new install of same game the file xxx.cab installs normaly but I get same error message with different cab file. then I try to install again and some other cab file is corrupted but not two I already mentioned. other time first cab file is bad again. I dont get it. one time the file is corrupt and other time its not. however I cant get through the whole install process without cab file being corrupted. please help.

When I've experienced this, it was a problem with my DVD-CD.
