just downloaded the trial of vegas 5 - pretty cool...
a couple of irregularities i noticed: i was doing a 2 layer composite,
with the top layer set to multiply, and when adjusting the layer's
transparency slider the layer faded to black...??? shouldn't the layer
behind show through like other apps...? i'm very new to the app so it
could be something quite simple i'm missing.
also is there a way to do alpha glows yet? eg. if ur comping one layer
onto another and have the top layer's glow based on its alpha channel. i
would've thought this was a really obvious effect to have... and much
more practical for compositing elements than the glows vegas has included.
