Hey there. I've heard conflicting stuff and I'm not really sure how
to do it, but can I go from VHS on the TV to my Mini-DV Sony TRV-19??

Any idea how? Thanks a lot.

Your question is a bit confusing. What are you trying to do?

You can capture video from a VHS VCR with the Sony TRV-19 with the signal
convert function and output it to a computer as a file via a FireWire cable
(the optional iLink cable). See page 173 of the manual. If you need a
manual you can get one at

Search for DCR-TRV19

Nope, only on the TRV22. No analog input available on the TRV19...

You are correct. I was incorrect. I read the manual too quickly. The
signal convert function is only for the TRV22 and TRV33.
