Hello,
I have installed the "Disc Creator" version of Ulead Movie Factory 3
and tried to convert a newly downloaded movie. Through a utility
"AVIcodec", it shows that my movie is with audio "448Kbps, 48000Hz, 5
channels and AC3 DVM" codec. I have d/l the AC3 Filter and so I can
successfully play the avi file with sound through my PC DVD Player.
However, when I tried to convert it into DVD through Disc Creator, I
found that the movie clip information show "Compression: Unknown ACM
Format, 48KHz, 0 Bits Stereo" when I check the avi file. Although I
still can hear the audio when I play the clip in preview mode, I worry
that the burned DVD will finally turn out to be no sound.
I expect the audio information should be something liked "Dobly XXXX"
instead of "Unknown ACM Format". Could this lead to any problem for
the burned DVD? It just take too long to have the DVD burnt (over 12
hrs) and so I wish I can make sure everything would be fine before
proceed the burning.
