No boot disk for notebook windows7

By boot disk you mean recovery disk? If your drive is corrupt and you can't boot off the restore partition you have a few options. Contact the manufacturer for a set of disks or a new drive if the system is in warranty. Get an OEM Windows 7 disk and use the code on the computer (this may or may not work depending on the disk, some are tied to a range of keys). Get a new Win 7 disk and a new code. OEM versions are a bit over $100.

If you have access to a windows7 pc you could make a rescue disc from it




In Control Panel, click System and Security, and then click Backup and Restore.

In the left pane, click Create a system recovery disk;

Insert a blank Disc, and then click Create Disk.




To check, reboot the system.

After loading the files, select the language, and then click Next (Next).

Windows 7 installed the system is found, click Next (Next):
