yahoo messenger for pocket pc?

is there a pocket pc 2002 version of yahoo instant messenger? I found one
that was made for windows ce 2 that doesn't seem to work with my ipaq 5455.

Yahoo closed the conduit for the ppc version a year or so ago
I've seen some people get it working by using a proxy but I've never tried
it like that so I can't say for sure if it works or not.
