Howdy,

I'm trying to play a video game on my computer and i have a problem
as you probly infered by the title of my post. The video game is
Neverwinter nights and 5 minutes into the game and the music starts
skipping in place and my computer freezes and i get a error report.
I've tryed installing the latest drivers and the required chip set
for my mother board. I've also formated my computer because i thought
it could be a virus. to say the least i havent been able to fix the
problem. I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem? Oh and
its not the game because its done this on several occations to other
games. my video card is less then a year and a half old. Also the video
games like 4 years old.

Oh, almost for got to tell you my video card is a Radeon 9800.

Well thanks in advance,

-Matthew

Did you also get the latest version of DirectX? And the latest drivers for
your soundcard?

What is the exact text of the error message?
