Hi
I'm trying to create my first DVD and am using "Click 2 DVD". The DVD will
include both Video and photos. The software comes with a few pre-loaded music
tracks that you can use as background music for the photo slideshows but I
want to use tracks of my own choice. I've tried accessing tracks that I have
downloaded from CDs (both original and also CDs burned by friends) using
Windows Media Player but the tracks are not displayed in the dialog box that
allows you to choose tracks from folders on your laptop.

The Click 2 DVD Help message says that "OpenMG (ATRAC3, ATRAC3Plus) format
music files cannot be written to dvd" so maybe that is why i cannot do it.

Frankly I am new to all of this i.e. dvds, ripping and burning music etc so
I don't know what OpenMG is but surely there must be someway bonafide of
accessing other music to use on the dvd.

Would be very grateful for any advice.

A Sony question in a Microsoft group?

The clue could be in the error message, "format" (.wav, .ac3 etc....), or it
could be a copyright issue.

Sorry I can't offer more.
