Anyone tell me where/how I can upgrade my iPAQ 3650 from
Pocket PC 2000 to Pocket PC 2002.

I can't seem to find any site that can tell me or sell me
the upgrade. Duh!!! Am I missing something.

Any help will be appreciated

If upgrades are available they come from your ppc maker. Check their
website, if you can't find info then email them.

HP dropped the upgrade CD for the 36XX series almost a year ago. Best bet
now is look on EBay, last I checked there were still a number of them on
their. Sounds like about 1/2 are original Up-grade CD's and the others are
copies. About $20 is the going price.

can't get it anymore. You can still find it on Limewire though if you
search for Pocket pc 2002. I wouldn't normally advocate pirating software,
except in this case, it is abandonware and you can't buy it even if you
wanted to.

Thanks Tedd, I just looked and running right now about
$30, but it's the right stuff. I'll keep an eye here for
now.

Thanks. That explains why I've been frustrated trying to
find it.

Joe,
I will need to do some checking as to where they are, but I ended up
with 2 copies of the upgrade from HP. (it looked like the first one was lost
in the mail, so HP sent a second copy, about a month later the 1st copy
arrived)
So if you need it let me know and I will do some digging for it.

You downloaded it ?? Good luck, alot of those have caused a total system
crash with the only way to recover is sending the unit back to HP,
especially if you get the wrong version of the update (ie UK update,
Bluetooth Update) Unfort. I cannot find the list I had that tells you what
build goes with what unit.
