Hi Experts,

I have some old HI8 analog video's, which I'd like to convert to DVD.
Ofcourse, I'll be doing some editing to, but not much. I have bought a SONY
TRV33E that also converts analog to PAL-DV. My question is what the final
frame order is going to be. Obviously, PAL Analog is upper field dominant,
but PAL DV is lower field dominant. Somewhere I believe that the frame order
is decided upon the shooting, so I need to rerender my PAL DV material
obtained through the A/D conversion of the camera to Upper Field First, but
is this really the case?

I have tested both in the whole proces, so including MPEG compression and
DVD burning, but saw hardly any difference. The only thing I thought I
noticed was that the LFF material was a bit less stable. Can someone help me
out here?

Thanks,

Jan

No, that's not the case.
