I am about to buy a new Dell Inspiron 8100 Laptop.
The options that they give for the video cards are as follows:
- 32MB DDR 4X AGP NVIDIA GeForce2 Go™Vid
- 16MB DDR 4X AGP NVIDIA GeForce2 Go™Vid &
- 64MB 4X AGP ATI Mobility Radeon 7500

Which one is the better choice????

Also the offer a 15" super xga display,
or a 15" Ultra xga display
the sxga has a Luminance of 140 cd/m² , and the Uxga is 150cd/m²
once again, WHICH IS BETTER?!?!?!?

thanks

Wow, Dell get the mobility Radeon 7500 fast. I would suggest the mobility radeon 7500 will be the best mobile gf chip. GF2Go is just a little better than Mobility Radeon. But M-Radeon 7500 is far better and newer technology than GF2Go.

Nvidia or ATI, it's all depend on what you like and system optimization

"GF2Go is just a little better than Mobility Radeon. But M-Radeon 7500 is far better and newer technology than GF2Go." WTF dude, u contradict yourself. IMO, get a GF2 go and don't have driver hassles.

Hmm according to mad Onion the 3Dmark2001 benchmarks of the mobile radeon are on average 1500 while the geforce 2 go 32 mb DDR in my dell inspiron 8100 easily gets 2100 marks without any tweaking and quality to max

Guess you better try to find some articles where they compare the two. Hadn't any luck finding some though.

Not the normal old Mobile Radeon, they offer the Radeon 7500 which easily doubles the score of the GF2GO, and according to reviews, it has LESS driver hassles (isn't that something?!) tho I would wait until Dell adopt the GeForce 4 GO before purchasing
