Goodmorning to everybody… I'll be brief avoiding to bore you,
I wanted to do videoediting with my DV camcorder (Panasonic NV-DS11)
and my portable laptop Pentium4 1.8GHz 512Mb ram.
I purchased an external hard disk (Lacie d2 120Gb Firewire) and
IEEE1394 card (Trust DV410 Pcmcia).
What is the problem? The problem is related to the peripherals
detection, actually the IEEE1394 card is correctly detect by the
system (Win2000 service pack4) but it's impossible "to see" a firewire
hard disk or my connected camcorder.
I've already tried to install the firewire card drivers again, to
exchange the IEEE1394 cables but the issue is still open.
I looked for the Lacie drivers but Lacie co. claims that the driver is
already "installed" into my operative system.
If you already had this kind of problem, please help me!
Thank you in advance!!
ciao
