Can't output from Ulead videostudio 6 to DV camcorder--Spo..

I have been trying to do this for a couple of days now: I can capture
fine, do all edits, titles, audio etc fine, it will save as a dv for
export. The second I try to export (or project playback) to the
camcorder, the camcorder screen starts sputtering, audio is
intermittent--playback is the same... This must be a small problem
because everything else works so smoothly, but it's really getting
me...

I can watch the finished video fine on my computer, and I have gotten
the DV to record a few seconds of footage (with no edits or any
changes made) with no problem, but I can't get anything usable.

I am using a Compaq Presario laptop, Videostudio version 6, and a
Panasonic camcorder. Is there any chance I need to reload the program
or drivers or something? Is there any other way to get the video
out--it's my sister's wedding video, and it's ready!
