Hi. I'm using media player 10 and I autostart a audio/video file but get
sound and no video. I know it's there. How to get it?
Thanks.

Codecs!

The cure for your nightmare is to download the G-Spot codec identifier and
see what the files are really encoded with!

Once you know whether it's Xvid or Divx, you then need to go to the
respective websites and download and install the correct codecs.

I almost never use WMP. I watch alot of anime and believe me, they are
encoded with all sorts of codecs. Try these two players that I use
because I have never had any problems playing videos of any kind. They
already have all sorts of codecs installed so it should play most of the
video files you have. Hope it helps!
