The best way I've found to send large files is www.yousendit.com

You enter in the email address you want it to go to, then upload the file to
them. When it is uploaded, they send an email to the recipient telling them
the file is ready for them to download. And the best thing is, it's free!

1) If this 2 minute clip is the only one clip on that DVD, You can simply
copy whole DVD to another DVD-R or CD-R by means of some burning software
such as Nero.

2) If You need to cut this clip from a big movie, You need some video
editing and converting software supporting DVD. (Such as VirtualDubMod, EO
video, ets). Open .VOB file from DVD, cut Your clip and save it to DivX AVI
or WMV format. Than You can send this file via e-mail or burn to CDR.

With best regards, Евгений Фирсов.

Put the DVD into your computer > open windows explorer > click on the drive
for your burner > you should see all the file(s) that are on that DVD > drag
and drop the files from the DVD to a folder on your Hard Drive.

If you want to "upload" this folder to a location your Uncle can access
follow Cari's instructions.

If you want to make a copy of the DVD, put a blank DVD in your burner and
use the software that came with your burner to make a copy of the files that
are now on your Hard Drive.

If your camera is a DVD camera, and it made .VOB files, and you can play
this DVD in a conventional DVD player hooked up to your TV, and you want to
make a copy for your uncle that he can play in his conventional DVD player,
1st find out if his conventional DVD player will play + or - DVD's (or both)
then use that type of DVD when you make the copy.

If your camera produces tapes, and you somehow transferred the movie to your
Hard Drive and simply copied that file to the DVD, then the "movie" is
probably in a format conventional DVD players don't understand, namely .WMV
or .MPEG or .MPG or .MOV etc. If you want to make a movie that will play in a
conventional DVD player hooked up to your TV, then you'll have to make a DVD
using a program that will make DVD's in the format conventional DVD players
understand, ie: .VOB. Your burner should have come with one one of these
Video Editing Software programs. (Windows Movie Maker does NOT have this
capability).

Hope that helps.......
