Cannot get AIM Video to work!!

I have been trying unsuccessfully to get AIM Video to work and am
stumped. I have the latest release of AIM, the video update they
suggested and turned off my software firewall. When I go to video
preferences I see my camera fine and all tests ok. But when I video
conference someone their image looks black (but their camera may not
have been working properly) but my camera just shows a grey screen.
Even if theirs was not working properly shouldn't I see my own ok?
Any ideas out there.

Also opening up all the ports suggested by AOL 1024-5000 seems risky.
Is there any more specific ports or does AIM actually use all of these
ports?
