I am having an issue with battlefield vietnam being very chopy. I have an Athlon XP 2100 and 256 MB of ram and a radeon 9000 pro video card. I have noticed that when it starts to get real chopy my hard drive light is constantly on so I upped the size on my pageing file and that seamed to help a little. I have downloaded all of the updates that I can find for my video card and sound card. Are there any suggestions?
I second the suggestion for a memory upgrade. 256 just doesnt cut it for anything anymore really.
The fact that your HDD light is on constantly while playing is a dead give-away that your pc is writing a ton of info to the swap file due to lack of memory.
