I am a newbie in need of some help. I have used Windows Movie Maker,
Pinnacle Studio and Video Impression to make movies out of my pictures. I
recently shot a video using my Canon Powershot S230. I downloaded the avi to
my computer and was able to play it in Windows Media Player. I then imported
it into Windows Movie Maker. It plays fine if I play it from the collection.
The problem is that as soon as I drag it to the storyboard and play it, the
audio is destroyed and is loud, screeching and distorted. The other software
has the same audio problem once the movie has been created and I try to play
it. I had another person use the exact same avi file and version of Windows
Movie Maker on their computer and they did not have a problem. Please help
as I do not have a clue why I am having the problem on my computer or how to
fix it.
