DVDit! PE 2.5.4 or DVDit! 5: feedback?

I was using PE 2.3 but realized the menu degradation in tat version. I
downloaded the free update to 2.5.4 and can see a big improvement in
menu quality. This version requires us to use somethig other than NT
so we are pursuing that on our dedicated DVD computer. But this also
opens the possibility of using v.5 It's not a free update but if
feedback was significantly positive, it might be worth it.
Of course, I am at the last stage of an overdue project and ultimately
either must truly work.
So..

1)Any bugs/gotchas in 2.5.4 I should be aware of?

2)Any bugs/gotchas in DVDit! v5? Is it solid?
I am especially interested in the button highlighting (more subtle
than 2.x?) and left right up down assignment.
