I want to append two video clips which differ only in one parameter:
The first is stereo encoded the second mono.
Hence the can NOT be appended (in VirtualDub) because VD disaalow this.
So I have to adjust the second video to the parameters of the first.
How can I "reconfigure" the second movie to "stereo" property?
Is there a tool which helps me to do this without complete reencoding ?
By the way: Reencoding with VirtualDub doesn't help.
Both videos are still incompatible for appending!

Mono into stereo = Lead into gold
Try to adjust the first video to the parameters of the second.
You can re-encode both movies (without audio) using VDub, to a common
format, then join them.
Google for Audacity Audio Converter. Convert both sound tracks to mono
wav and join them. Add the .wav to the joined movies and re-encode the
audio to MP3 128/48000/16 CBR or 192/48000/16 CBR depending on how
good you hearing is. (VBR & ABR can be a pain to synch.)
Cheers,
