Posted this on another ng, thought i would try here. Sorry for the cross
post.
It takes me about 2.5 hrs to copy a dvd with my new lite-on 832s. This
drive is capable to burn at 8x but only burns at 4x using fuji dvd+r discs.
The fuji discs are only up to 4x but that is not the major time hog.
I'm new and have looked at several web sites for help, including
videohelp.com so forgive me if my questions are stupid.
#1 - is there a way to make discs burn at higher speed than what they
indicate
#2 - i'm copying using dvd shrink and my lite on burner above. Seems like
the most time is spent "caching files". Do i need to do this? Can i turn
it off? Again, i'm using dvd shrink and nero 6.
